The probes use a high-heat-safe super capacitor instead of batteries. A 2-minute USB charge in the included case delivers up to 4 hours of use. Food-grade stainless steel probes and ceramic handles withstand up to 572°F (300°C), while the measured food range is 32°F–212°F (0°C–100°C).
